Once upon a time.....There was a mommy and a daddy, they saw how their baby Marques became very calm when he met a dog that was very calm, cool, and collected. The mommy and the daddy realized a special assistance dog would be therapeutic and a great pal for little Marques. The mommy and the daddy found The North Star Foundation who decided to place a dog with the Briseno Family after the dogs initial training. Marques then decided to name his dog after his brother (Marciel he spelled it phoenetically = Marsil) and Dora's best friend Boots. So the little cute puppy was to be called Boots-Marsil Briseno (aka Boots).

ReplyDeleteI wanted to introduce myself to you. I will be helping you, your mom and dad and the rest of your family get ready for Boots. I live in San Diego and I will be teaching Boots a lot of different things so that he will be your best friend ever. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and I have been learning all about Dora the Explorer. By the way, I like to swim and I heard that you like to swim also. I will make sure that I give Boots some swimming lessons while he is living with me.

ReplyDeleteI just got an email from Boots (well actually from the person who is taking care of him in Connecticut). She said that Boots was at a lake house for the weekend and he ran and played. But the most important news is that he went swimming and he liked it. That is great news for us because I wanted to make sure that you had a swimming buddy. If he already is doing it, well all I have to do is help him get better at swimming. I will send you pictures next weekend when he arrives in San Diego. See you soon.
